The plus side for when the Kiki classic does come back in stock? The drop earring portion can be removed, so you can add any drop to the diamond hoop or even wear the hoop alone. A truly versatile earring, which makes the $2,835 price tag a little easier to swallow. 

Middleton recently wore green tourmaline and green amethyst drop earrings from McDonough’s line while attending the annual 1st Battalion Irish Guards St Patrick’s Day Parade at Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow, England, in March. The earrings featured a green tourmaline stud encircled with diamonds and attached with a single solitaire diamond to a rather large oval-shaped green amethyst, which was also circled by diamonds. (That’s a lot of diamonds.) Like today, she paired the sparkling green earrings with a festive all-green ensemble.
