Kate Middleton Just Rewore Her Engagement Photo Shoot Blouse

Kate Middleton is no stranger to recycling the statement pieces in her closet. However, in her latest YouTube video, she opted to rewear a piece very close to her heart—the blouse from her engagement photos with Prince William.

This week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a new video on their official Youtube channel featuring Middleton conducting phone calls with finalists of the National Portrait Gallery's Hold Still photography exhibition. During the conversations, which took place last autumn, the duchess spoke to a number of the 100 finalists who shared their experiences of life during the first COVID-19 lockdown in the U.K. by submitting an image to the project.

And while we’re still getting used to seeing the 39-year-old on YouTube (this is only the couple’s third video), we missed one major detail about Middleton’s ensemble. Luckily, Harper’s Bazaar has keen attention to detail and realized that the mother of three was sporting the same blouse that she donned in one of her engagement photos with William back in 2010.

The engagement photo shows the duke and duchess hugging while smiling at the camera. Middleton is seen in the button-down ivory blouse made from silk with delicate appliqués across the front as well as sleeve cuffs.

The video comes one month after the couple celebrated their 10-year anniversary. So, even though the clip was shot back in the fall, we can’t help but take note of the very clever timing.
