Kate Middleton Debuted a Stunning New Necklace in Her Anniversary Photos with Prince William

It’s been two days since we were blessed with two brand-new portraits of Prince William and Kate Middleton. And yet we’re still learning new details about the images. Today’s discovery? A diamond necklace.

On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared two never-before-seen photos on their official Instagram account (@kensingtonroyal) ahead of their tenth wedding anniversary on Thursday.

In the first photo, William and Middleton are sitting on a log in a grassy field, holding hands and looking off into the distance. The second photo—taken during the same shoot—shows the duo standing in a courtyard. The captions read, “10 years” and “Taken this week ahead of The Duke and Duchess’ 10th wedding anniversary.”

For the occasion, Middleton rocked a long sleeve wrap dress while William opted for a classic navy-blue look, consisting of trousers, a sweater and a button-down shirt. And since we were originally focused on the couple’s matching ensembles, we almost didn’t notice Middleton’s new accessory.

According to The Sun, the duchess is wearing the Asprey London Daisy Heritage Pendant, which retails for a whopping $12,350. Per the outlet, the necklace is handcrafted with marquise cut and pave diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold and suspended on a diamond chain.

Considering we haven’t seen the necklace in the past, fans and followers have been speculating that the accessory was an anniversary present from her hubby. However, nothing has been confirmed.

If the pendant was an anniversary gift, all we have to say is: Way to go, Will.
