Kate Middleton Gives Fans a Glimpse of Her Christmas Concert Invitations

Kate Middleton’s Christmas carol concert is happening sooner than expected, according to the official invitations just revealed by the Duchess of Cambridge.

Last week, we learned that the mother of three will host a special holiday event from Westminster Abbey that will also air on television. And while we didn’t expect to get the invite, Middleton was kind enough to share a photo of one on social media on Tuesday.

The invitation reads: “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, supported by the Royal Foundation and with grateful thanks to the Dean and Chapter of Westminster Abbey, requests the pleasure of the company of [insert name] at a Carol Service at Westminster Abbey, London, SW1P 3PA on Wednesday, 8th December, at 5 p.m.”

The concert will raise funds for a variety of charities, including NHS Charities Together, which has supported health service workers throughout the pandemic. While Middleton is set to emcee the event, her husband, Prince William, is expected to be watching from the audience. The couple might also bring their children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.

“This Christmas we are celebrating the incredible work of individuals and organizations across the nation who go above and beyond to support their communities,” part of the post’s caption read. “The service, which will be broadcast in December, will look back on the last eighteen months, to think not only of the unprecedented challenges that we have all faced as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, but also to remember the positives: people and organizations pulling together in their communities, the small acts of kindness across different demographics and generations, and the unsung heroes who stepped up to help others.”

We’re just going to pretend like this invite was sent directly to our mailbox.
