Kate Hudson Now Has Her Very Own Vodka, So Break Out the Martini Glasses

You've watched all her movies and worn the latest Fabletics gear, but now Kate Hudson is inviting herself to your next holiday shindig.

The award-winning actress just launched her very own vodka and revealed the news this week on social media. King St. Vodka is the Hudson-approved cocktail upgrade to bring to your next party.

She captioned a post on her Instagram, "After a particularly long day, I decided to host an impromptu cocktail party with my closest friends. As I prepare to whip up a batch of dirty vodka martinis I surveyed my bar, but I wasn't 100 percent happy with my options. Then I wondered, 'Are any of these vodkas founded by women?' I did some research, they weren't. So, I decided to make my own just the way I like it!"

The product's name was inspired by NYC's very own King Street, where Hudson resided and often hosted her own parties (complete with vodka cocktails we assume). Despite the Big Apple's connection, the spirit is crafted in Santa Barbara, California. The premium spirit's blend of GMO-free corn and alkaline water makes it a gluten-free option (7x distilled and with 43 percent alcohol content).

According to a press release, Hudson stated: “I have always found the spirits industry fascinating, and I love Dirty Vodka Martinis. The creative side of me thought it would be a fun challenge to develop a vodka for my palate, and in a beautiful package that I would love to have on my bar and share with friends. The business person in me is now looking forward to the challenge of building a brand in an entirely new industry."

The New York Times best-selling author also launched a website with easy cocktail recipes like "Kate's Dirty Vodka Martini" and "Ginger Peach Mule." The bottle will be $25 and sold in California at BevMo to start. Shortly after, it'll be featured in selected retailers across the country and online at King St. Vodka's website

Until then, we'll be raising a glass in your honor, Kate.
