Kate Hudson Posts Rare Clip of Daughter Singing—and Nearly 3 Million People Have Already Watched it

It feels like just yesterday that Kate Hudson welcomed her third child, Rani Rose, into the world and now she’s already mastered her ABCs.

On Monday, in honor of World Music Day, the 42-year-old actress shared a video of her 2-year-old daughter singing the alphabet while she accompanies her on the piano. In the video, Rani sits on her mother’s lap and sings into the camera. “And that, ladies and gentleman, is how to sing your ABC’s #TeachEmYoung #HappyMusicDay,” Hudson captioned the post.

And while the toddler didn’t miss a beat, we were also impressed with Hudson’s skills on the keys. (Who knew she had such musical talent?) And we weren’t the only ones who took note. The post received nearly three million views and five thousand comments from friends, family and followers. One user wrote, “Elvis loved watching this. I think we need to start a mommy band Kate!” while another added, “Omg... sooooooooooo adorable! She’s so good for her age.”

Of course, Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn, made sure to show her fam some support, writing, “I have no words only inordinate amounts of LOVE #RANIROSEROCKS.”

Musical talent isn’t the only thing Rani inherited from her mom. We also couldn’t help but notice the likeness between the mother-daughter duo. In addition to having the same hair, they also have similar eyes, smiles and round cheeks.

Hudson welcomed baby Rani back in 2018 with her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa. The actress shares son Ryder with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson, while son Bingham is from her previous relationship with Matt Bellamy.

Keep the music magic coming, you two.
