Up-and-coming actress Julia Fox attended her first-ever Golden Globes afterparty last night. And, no surprise, she looked stunning.
The 29-year-old started her evening at an InStyle party and then moved on to an Amazon Studios event. She opted for a black gown with a plunging neckline and a high slit up the leg. She paired the dress with tights, black heels and a LBB (little black bag). See her full look below.
If you didn’t know, Fox is the breakout star of the new movie Uncut Gems, which has become a big hit at the box office. The gritty crime thriller has already garnered lots of critical praise (amidst the incredible direction and spot-on acting, Fox particularly stood out).
Uncut Gems is her first major acting role and has even earned her a Gotham Independent Film Award nomination for Breakthrough Actor.
Although the film was her first feature, Fox recently wrapped a short film she wrote and directed called Fantasy Girl. In addition to acting, she has aspirations of continuing to write and direct her own projects.
Fox was a fixture in the New York club scene from a young age and even became the part-owner of a nightclub, she told Paper magazine. She also revealed during the interview that she worked as a dominatrix in high school.
We have a feeling there are a lot more award shows (and afterparties) in this actress’s future.
