We tend to place Chrissy Teigen and John Legend and (as far as we're concerned) their blissful marriage on a pedastal, but, as they recently revealed, that doesn't mean they haven't hit their fair share of bumps in the road.
Legend revealed in an interview with the Guardian on Sunday he once—brace yourself—tried to break up with Teigen when they began dating 11 years ago, and she said, “No.”
The “All of You” crooner said that the attempted breakup came at a time when he, “was really stressed and busy. I was like: ‘I’d be happier single right now.'” Teigen being, well, Teigen wasn't having any of her now-husband’s nonsense and simply refused to let him break up with her. The couple was “back together” in less than 30 minutes. Bada bing, bada boom.
Teigen took her own trip down memory lane and shared more details of the breakup that never was on Twitter, writing, “It wasn’t a [sic] typical breakup. He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like ‘no.’”
