Jennifer Garner Just Played the Saxophone for Jimmy Fallon (& Struggled Not to Laugh Through the Whole Thing)

Jennifer Garner wants the world to meet Sally the Sexy Saxophone.

The 47-year-old Camping star virtually visited The Tonight Show: At Home Edition last night and showed host Jimmy Fallon that, like riding a bicycle, saxophone skills just don’t go away.

Garner was famously in band in high school and played—you guessed it—the sax. So, in the interest of highlighting the mission of her Save with Stories initiative (which helps provide meals to children who typically receive food services at school) and entertaining the masses, Garner dusted off trusty ol’ Sally and played a little tune for everyone.

Now, the last time Garner played on TV was “20 plus years ago” on the Donnie & Marie Show, but that’s a story for another time. This go-around, she and Fallon opted to band together and play a handwashing version of “Happy Birthday,” which you can see in the video below by skipping to about the 16-minute mark.

While Garner struggled to get through the song without laughing, Fallon switched up the words to the well-known song to make it more, um, timely. Now, the lyrics are “Happy birthday and wash your hands” and the song ends with “And don’t touch your face.” Pretty catchy if we do say so ourselves.

We might just have to start using this when we’re washing our own hands because, to be honest, the traditional “Happy Birthday” was getting a little stale.

Now, more Sally the Sexy Saxophone, please and thank you, Jennifer.
