This brand-new photo of Jennifer Garner proves that even celebrities struggle to get out the door in the morning.
It all started yesterday when the 47-year-old actress shared a relatable photo on Instagram that will make every parent say, “Same.” The pic features Garner standing in her front yard with the ultimate morning trifecta: wet hair, a robe and a cup of coffee.
She captioned the post, “She barely made the bus on time, but at least her mother kept it classy.”
Garner is clearly referring to one of the two daughters she shares with Ben Affleck, Violet (13) and Seraphina (10). (They also have a 7-year-old son named Samuel.) Although the children aren’t pictured, we can only hope they changed out of their slippers prior to boarding the bus.
The actress’s followers immediately flooded the comments section with words of praise for her realness. Lena Dunham (Girls) tried to make a mom joke, writing, “‘It me’ as the kids once said.” Others gave a shout-out to fellow mothers, saying, “Omg we as moms are such miracle workers lol you look marvelous.”
Garner is known for her transparency on social media. Not only does she frequently document her mom fails, but she also hosts a semi-regular Instagram series titled Pretend Cooking Show, where she details her favorite recipes.
