Blue Ivy Carter Is Too Cool for Dad Jay-Z During Candid Moment at NBA Finals

Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, looked so grown up during her latest public appearance.

This week, the 10-year-old traveled to San Francisco to attend game five of the NBA finals, where she saw the Golden State Warriors defeat the Boston Celtics.

During the game, Carter sat next to Jay-Z. Although her dad has won 21 Grammy Awards throughout his successful career, Blue displayed typical preteen behavior when she was featured on the Jumbotron.

In the clip (which was shared on Twitter by SportsCenter), the camera panned to the father-daughter duo, who were sitting in the front row. #Casual

Jay-Z was all smiles as he put his arm around Carter, who immediately tried to remove it. She seemed to say, “Dad, my hair!” Jay-Z managed to sneak a kiss on the cheek before obeying her orders.

According to a witness, Carter’s embarrassment was likely a direct result of being on the Jumbotron, because she embraced her dad’s affection when the cameras weren’t rolling. “Throughout the game Jay had his arm around her shoulder and was pointing out different things on the court to her,” a source told E! News. “He was so proud of her. He gave her a big dad kiss on the cheek.”

Carter seemed so grown up during the interaction. The 10-year-old sported her natural curls, which hung in front of her face. She wore an edgy outfit, consisting of a leather jacket, black T-shirt and hoop earrings.

There’s no denying she’s a mini Beyoncé in the making.
