‘Bring My Flowers Now’ by Tanya Tucker Takes Home the Award for Best Country Song at 2020 Grammys

The Grammys just crowned another winner!

Tonight, the music industry’s biggest stars gathered at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles for the 62nd annual Grammy Awards. Tanya Tucker won the award for Best Country Song for “Bring My Flowers Now.”

The track was up against “Girl Goin’ Nowhere” by Ashley McBryde, “It All Comes Out in the Wash” by Miranda Lambert, “Some of It” by Eric Church and “Speechless” by Dan + Shay. 

Last year, Kacey Musgraves took home this award for “Space Cowboy” which was written by Luke Laird, Shane Mcanally and Musgraves. The other nominees included “Break Up in the End” by Cole Swindell, “Dear Hate” by Maren Morris and Vince Gill, “I Lived It” by Blake Shelton, “Tequila” by Dan + Shay and “When Someone Stops Loving You” by Little Big Town.

The Grammys first debuted the Best Country Song category in 1965. Previous winners include “Broken Halos” by Chris Stapleton, “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw, “Girl Crush” by Little Big Town, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” by Glen Campbell, “Merry Go Round” by Kacey Musgraves, “Blown Away” by Carrie Underwood, “Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum and “Mean” and “White Horse” by Taylor Swift.
