Be Our Guest! Disney World Is Opening a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Bar This Fall

Tie your napkin around your neck, chérie, because there’s a new bar opening at Disney World and it sounds magnifique. That’s right, a new Beauty and the Beast–inspired lounge is coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this fall and there’s no need to spend a small fortune on park tickets to experience it. That’s because the bar won’t be located in the park itself but rather in one of the resort’s hotels.

According to the Disney Parks blog, “the enchanting lounge will celebrate the magic and romance of the popular Disney live-action movie.”

And while there’s no name for the bar yet, the park has revealed that it will feature four unique spaces: a signature bar with a large gold chandelier (you know, like Belle’s ball gown), a formal library showcasing baroque and French touches, a garden room inspired by the enchanted forest and an outdoor patio meant to “evoke the romance of the Beast’s garden terrace.”

No word yet on what type of food or drinks will be served. But here’s hoping that Lumière and Cogsworth will make an appearance.

The Grand Floridian is already home to one of the resort’s fancier restaurants, Victoria & Alberts. This fine-dining establishment requires jackets for men and children under age 10 are not allowed. (We told you it was fancy.)

Consider it the perfect antidote to the inevitable child meltdown in the middle of Frontierland.
