- Kate Middleton just received a new patronage from HRH Queen Elizabeth. Today, Kensington Palace announced that the Duchess of Cambridge will now take over the Photographic Society, one of the world's oldest photographic societies, which was founded in 1952.
- The Sovereign Grant report, the financial summary of all the royal family's activities for fiscal year 2018-2019, was released today. It outlines the spending habits of each member of the royal family, including the fact that Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles spent the most on travel of anyone this year, and that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Frogmore House renovations cost £2.4 million (more than $3 million).

- In more "royal" news... Netflix's The Crown is rumored to return this fall. Actress Erin Doherty, who will portray Princess Anne, said she "believes the new season will be out in the autumn,” according to The Irish News via the Express. Previously, Netflix had revealed (in a letter to investors) that the show's third season would be out in the "second half" of 2019.
- And, in more Netflix news: Deadline reports that Ryan Murphy will adapt Broadway's The Prom as a feature-length film for Netflix. The rumored cast includes Meryl Streep, James Corden, Nicole Kidman, Ariana Grande, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key and Andrew Rannells.
- Finally, Reese Witherspoon's family just grew by one (with four paws). The Big Little Lies star just debuted her new puppy, a bulldog named Lou, on Instagram.
