Chrissy Teigen Confuses the Internet, Posts Risqué Photo Revealing Makeup Isn’t Just for Your Face

Chrissy Teigen has taught us a number of things. For one, after years of saying her last name wrong, she finally told the world it’s actually pronounced Tie-gen. And of course there was the whole boob tape and Spanx hack she so generously shared with us. Yesterday, however, the 33-year-old Cravings: Hungry or More author informed us that makeup isn’t just for your face anymore.

This hot tip came courtesy of an Instagram pic that Teigen posted. In it, she…well, actually you should just see for yourself.

See what we mean? Teigen captioned the photo of her waving her legs in the air like she just don’t care, “When I was young, makeup was just for the face.” She tagged her hairstylist, @glencocoforhair, and makeup artist, @dianebuzzetta.

Her followers were just as confused by her photo as us. “Wait—is this a home birth,” comedian Whitney Cummings commented. Good Morning America host Carson Daly wrote, “What in God’s name is going on here sister?” Fashion writer Derek Blasberg quipped, “Wax ain’t just for a candle either.”

We may never know what was really going on in Teigen’s photo, but hairstylist Glen Coco (is that his real name or just a Mean Girls reference? Not clear.) did shed some light on the situation. He shared a pic of Teigen all gussied up in a room full of dolls (?) and explained that she was headed to a Hulu brunch at the Cannes Lions festival.
