Watch ‘This Is Us’ Star Chrissy Metz’s Breathtaking American Country Music Awards Performance

This Is Us is sadly on hiatus until season four airs this fall. But never fear, Pearson fans, because Chrissy Metz returned to the small screen last night and it was major.

The 38-year-old actress crossed an epic item off her bucket list and performed at the Academy of Country Music Awards with some heavy hitters.

Metz sang an original song called “I’m Standing with You” from her forthcoming film Breakthrough alongside country superstars Carrie Underwood, Maddie & Tae, Mickey Guyton and Lauren Alaina.

The voices! The matching royal blue gowns! The gospel choir in the back! It was quite the entrance to musical performances for Metz and we hope it won’t be the last time we see her on stage.

Metz opened up about the memorable experience on Instagram, writing, “Singing this song with such wonderful women, artists and this amazing choir was truly a gift wrapped in the most special of bows! Thank you, @carrieunderwood, @maddieandtae, @laurenalaina and @mickeyguyton for making this a night for the books!”

She went on to thank musician Diane Warren for writing the song and a few others, saying, “Thank you for this anthemic piece of art covered in love and empathy inspired by the true story of @breakthroughmovie! To my team who never cease to amaze me, I love you very much! The entire night at @acmawards was inspiring, exciting, emotional and so dang fun!”

In addition to Metz’s powerhouse performance, artists Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Little Big Town took the stage as well. Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and the show’s host, Reba McEntire, also got in on the musical fun for a night to remember.

Same time, same place next year, Chrissy?
