During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, McEntire revealed that she was the OG Molly Brown but ended up having to turn down the role due to scheduling conflicts.
“[My band and I] were on tour, and I had a lot of people on the payroll. We had these three months already scheduled to do the movie, and then they got behind on scheduling and said, ‘No, we’re going to have to move it in this time,’ so we couldn’t reschedule all the arenas and everything,” explained McEntire.
When Cohen asked whether or not she was affected when the movie turned out to be such a huge hit, Reba was as honest of ever: “Well, sure! Absolutely!
