Three months after announcing their surprise engagement, Chris Pratt and his fiancee, Katherine Schwarzenegger, can officially cross “make red carpet debut” off their pre-wedding checklist.
Last night, the couple attended the world premiere of Avengers: Endgame at the Los Angeles Convention Center, marking their first-ever joint appearance.
They walked the red carpet wearing semi-matching ensembles—while Schwarzenegger sported a leopard one-shoulder Monique Lhuillier gown, Pratt donned a complementary tie and suit by Tom Ford. (Ten points for coordination.)
During an interview on the red carpet, the 39-year-old actor confirmed that he’s “pretty deep” in wedding planning. “I’m up to about my neck, you know? That’s pretty deep. That’s up to about 5-foot-something,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m in it, baby. I’m in it. It’s good. It’s a good time!”
Pratt went on to say that he’s excited for fans to finally see Avengers: Endgame, even though his 6-year-old son Jack isn’t a fan of his character, Star-Lord. “I’m, like, Jack’s fourth favorite Avenger,” he added. “Well, actually, now that there’s even more Avengers, I think I’m, like, ninth favorite.”
Pratt and Schwarzenegger were first romantically linked in June 2018 when they were photographed together in Los Angeles. Their relationship blossomed almost one year after the Avengers star revealed that he was legally separating from his now ex-wife, Anna Faris.
Pratt proposed to the author back in January and announced the news on Instagram. “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” he captioned the candid post. “Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
We can’t deny that they make an awfully attractive couple.
