You’ll Never Believe How Much ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Tickets Are Selling for on Ebay

You’ve heard the news: Tickets for Avengers: Endgame went on sale on Tuesday. And if you have yet to snag your tix to opening night, there’s still time. There’s a catch though: You might have to pay a little more then you expected…maybe $10,000 more.

Tickets for the latest Marvel flick are such a hot commodity that wait times averaged more than an hour when they originally went on sale. And now some fans who weren’t lucky enough to secure seats that day are resorting to desperate measures. They’re taking part in eBay bidding wars with hefty price tags. Yup, we’re serious.

One bid in New York City even reached $9,199 for two tickets, while another (at the same AMC theater) reached just under $5,000 (!).

Avengers: Endgame is the final installment of the highly popular Avengers franchise. It took just six hours for the Marvel film to break Fandango’s presale ticket records for the most tickets purchased in 24 hours, surpassing three Star Wars films (The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and Rogue One).

Listen, we are some pretty dedicated fans ourselves, and we know this is arguably the most anticipated film of 2019, but dropping 10k for movie tickets seems a little extreme. But hey, we aren’t judging (jk, we’re totally judging!).

Fortunately, we only have to wait a few more days to see if the film is worth all of the hype (and money).
