Channing Tatum is known for keeping his private life, well, private. However, in a rare turn of events, the Magic Mike star just gave us a glimpse into his life as a father, and even showed his daughter’s face for the first time.
On Thursday, the 41-year-old star shared a photo of himself and his 8-year-old daughter, Everly, on his personal Instagram account. The photo features the father-daughter duo standing on the sand of a gorgeous beach with the ocean in the background.
“You my littles are everything! You are my world and my heart,” he wrote alongside the snap Littles?! Such a sweet nickname. “You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water and looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids. you said you touched a bald-headed mermaid and saw a tail. Haha one day you will read this and i hope laugh. We have fun. hehehe.”
While the actor has shared many shots with his only child on social media, this is the first that showcased her face. And we’re definitely not the only person who took note of the photo. One follower commented on the post, “Finally we get to see this sweet princess’s face,” while another added, “Is it just me or this is the first time we are seeing his daughter?” One fan even pointed out the likeness between the two, writing, “She is so gorgeous!! Looks like her dad.”
Tatum shares Everly with his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, whom he married in 2009 and the couple separated 10 years later.
