If you’ve ever wondered how our favorite male stripper (Channing Tatum) found his Magic Mike mojo, you’re in luck.
The popular 2012 movie is being turned into a musical, and no, we’re not kidding. Tatum announced the news on Twitter today and shared a photo of the Playbill, which is stuffed with single dollar bills (natch).
He captioned the post, “This. Is. Happening. Get ready for Magic Mike… THE BROADWAY MUSICAL. World premiere at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston this November. Tickets on sale TODAY.”
According to the musical’s website, the production is an “outrageous” new show that doubles as a prequel to Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL.
