Camilla Parker Bowles Gave Us a Rare Glimpse of Her Massive Engagement Ring in Latest Instagram Post

Camilla Parker Bowles is continuing her royal duties from home—her home in Scotland, that is. And during one of her most recent virtual royal engagements, the Duchess of Cornwall showed off her seriously impressive engagement ring.

Over the weekend, Clarence House released a new image of the duchess (holding her dog, Beth), taking part in a phone call with one of her patronages, Silver Line, a charity that offers a 24-hour helpline for older people to call if they are lonely or in need of assistance.

“The Duchess of Cornwall had a friendly chat with 90-year-old Betty from Hampshire to see how she was coping at this difficult time and lend a friendly ear,” they captioned the post. “Dame Esther Rantzen, founder of @TheSilverLineUK, also joined the call. HRH first spoke to Betty when visiting the charity’s headquarters in 2017 and this week they spoke about how hard it is being separated from family and Betty’s memories of the war.”

And while we applaud Camilla for staying on top of her royal obligations, it was the massive rock on her finger that really caught our attention. Sure, we’ve gotten a glimpse of the engagement ring before, but it’s a rare occasion that we see it this up close.

On February 10, 2005, Prince Charles popped the question with the ring, which features a massive five-carat emerald-cut diamond in the center, flanked by three diamond baguettes on each side. Not to mention, it once belonged to the Queen Mother, Prince Charles's grandmother.
