Blake Shelton Celebrates Hollywood Walk of Fame Star with Heartfelt Message to Wife Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton, 46, may have just gotten a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but he thinks the best thing that ever happened to him occurred two years prior, when he married Gwen Stefani, 53.

The country singer-songwriter was celebrated this past Friday, May 12, as they unveiled his new star, and while chatting with Fox News Digital, the Voice host took the opportunity to share a heartfelt message regarding his wife. “Well, nothing's official to me unless Gwen is a part of it,” he said. “Wouldn't have felt right, in fact, I probably would have made sure and searched around and found a day, if she couldn't have been here today, to be sure we did it on a day where she could at least be here and be with me, because things just aren't fun unless she's a part of it.”

Stefani was there to support Shelton and so were her three kids— Zuma, Apollo and Kingston Rossdale—from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale. (Shelton is a stepfather to all three.)

Meanwhile, Shelton's Voice castmates, Carson Daly and Adam Levine, were also there to show their support.

In her speech honoring her husband, Stefani gushed, saying, “Blake, you are a rare human being, and for all the success you have had in your life, he's the same guy today as he was back then. A country guy with a love for country music.”

Meanwhile, Shelton's praises for his wife continued in his acceptance speech, where he said, “I kind of stopped checking things off my list of great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen...[this moment] is just the icing on the cake.”

Stefani and Shelton were married in July 2021 at the country singer's ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. For the ceremony, the couple were surrounded by their closest family and friends (and Stefani wore *two* stunning Vera Wang wedding dresses).
