Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour has been jam-packed with surprises thus far.

The latest? Miley Cyrus joining her on stage Thursday night at Paris’ Stade de France for a special appearance to perform their Grammy-winning collaboration “II Most Wanted” for the very first time. Cyrus’s pop-up performance makes her the first official guest to appear on the tour, and fans went wild upon seeing the 32-year-old superstar.

And if that isn’t enough, the two matched each other glamorously with gold sequin bodysuits and golden cowboy boots. Bey has been styled by Ty Hunter, Shiona Turini and Karen Langley for this tour, and has been seen wearing Roberto Cavalli and Schiaparelli, alongside other noteworthy designers.

“II Most Wanted” was released as the third single from Cowboy Carter and became Beyoncé's 23rd and Cyrus' 13th top-ten song on the Billboard Hot 100. The track also debuted at number two on the Hot Country Songs chart, notching the duo their third and second top ten on the chart. The last official collaboration between the two stars was all the way back in 2008, when they worked together on the celebrity charity single “Just Stand Up!,” performing the song with a number of artists at that year’s Fashion Rocks Awards.

Cyrus opened up about finally being able to work with Queen Bey again during a March 2024 profile from W Magazine. “When Beyoncé reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away because it really encompasses our relationship,” she told the publication, adding, “I told her, ‘We don’t have to get country; we are country. We’ve been country.’ I said, ‘You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song.’ Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true.”

Beyoncé will wrap her Paris stint of the Cowboy Carter tour on June 22. From there, she’ll head back to the U.S. for shows in her home city of Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Las Vegas, where she’ll wrap things up with a three-date stint at Allegiant Stadium.
