Ben Platt & ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ Stars Give Heartfelt Home Performance of ‘You Will Be Found’ in New Video

James Corden is using this time of social distancing to bring people together with a new version of his late show titled, Homefest: A Late Late Show Special.

The 41-year-old welcomed an array of stars on the virtual edition, including Billie Eilish, BTS, Dua Lipa, John Legend, and David Blaine. And to end Monday night’s special, there was even an inspirational performance from Ben Platt and the cast of Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen.”

The comedian introduced Platt (who played the original Evan Hansen and even won a Tony Award for his performance), along with cast members from the current Broadway and National Touring companies to perform one of the songs from the hit musical.

“When I started thinking about how I wanted to end the show, I kept coming back to a song from the musical Dear Evan Hansen called ‘You Will Be Found,’ which sums up how I feel so much of the day,” Cordon revealed in an emotional introduction of the clip.

If you didn’t know, Dear Evan Hansen is about a boy with social anxiety and depression navigating his complicated teenage life. It has been credited with helping people speak about mental health and it even touches on the topic of suicide.
