It's Official: Adele Is Having Her First Concert in Five Years

To say that Adele is on a roll is an understatement.

First, she surprised fans by releasing new music for the first time in six years. Then came the big announcement regarding her interview special with Oprah Winfrey. And now, the British artist has revealed that she'll be performing her first set of live shows since 2017.

But before you scramble to get your hands on a few tickets, Adele revealed that her two shows will take place in London's Hyde Park in July 2022. On Instagram, she shared a promotional post, featuring art for her upcoming album, "30," and wrote, "Oiii Oiiiiiiiiiiiii. Pre sale at adele.com."

The concerts are part of the BST Hyde Park Summer Series, which will also include performances by Elton John, Pearl Jam and Duran Duran. Also, fans who visit Adele's official website can sign up to access the presale, which starts tomorrow, October 28.

The Grammy winner announced early in October that her newest album is set to release on November 19. She has since released her first hit single, "Easy On Me," which already garnered 118 million views. In a statement, she said, "I was certainly nowhere near where I'd hoped to be when I first started it nearly three years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly—willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil!"

She continued, "I've learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way...I feel like I've finally found my feeling again. I'd go as far as to say that I've never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I'm ready to finally put this album out."

Fingers crossed Adele adds a world tour in the future...
