It's no secret that Adam Brody's hit Netflix series, Nobody Wants This, delivers the opposite of what the show's title suggests. As evidenced by the high Rotten Tomatoes score and rave reviews, everybody wants to see an unconventional rabbi fall head over heels for an agnostic sex podcaster—complete with a meet-cute and witty banter.

Fortunately, PureWow got to chat with Brody about his work on the rom-com series and his new Super Bowl ad with Pringles (more on this later). While addressing the success of Nobody Wants This, which has already been renewed for a second season, Brody credited the show's timeliness and feel-good tone. He mused, "I think it makes people feel really good, and that is an emotion that was sorely needed in 2024."

The actor briefly reflected on season one, mentioning that his absolute favorite scene to film was "the sermon" because it focused mainly on his character. As for what fans can expect in season two, Brody said, "I don’t know what happens…hopefully more romance and hopefully more laughs."

Given how several fans have compared his character, Noah, to Seth from The O.C., we asked if he was willing to do a reboot of his iconic teen drama. In response, he simply quipped, "Yes, if it involved robots." (FYI, the actor has previously confirmed that he would be open if there was a "really inspired idea," so it sounds like he would need to be blown away by an entirely new concept.)

As for Brody's new, star-studded Pringles Big Game ad, the actor revealed that it was a "fun experience" and added, "[I] hope they will have me back."

In the official press release, he explained, "I know there are some things that everybody wants more of, like mustaches and snacks. It was so fun to work alongside some of the most iconic mustaches in the game—Nick [Offerman], James [Harden], Andy [Reid], Mr. Potato Head and Mr. P."

In the ad, Brody blows into an empty container of Pringles, sounding a special call that causes mustaches to fly to the grocery store and pick up a new stock of the popular snack.

Though Brody doesn't sport a full stash in the commercial, he noted that he typically enjoys having one and said, "I think it is flattering on most people…Jude Law has a good one in his new movie."

You can see Brody make his Super Bowl ad debut this Sunday, February 9, during the end of the second quarter of the big game.
