How to Make Your Home Smell Exactly Like Summer
The easiest DIY ever
Look, there are days when you just can’t make it outdoors. And that’s OK. You can still channel all the fragrant aromas of summer, thanks to this simple aromatherapy-based DIY.
What you need: Fresh sage leaves, plus a variety of other herbs (rosemary, lavender, thyme), cotton twine and matches.
What you do: Make a small bouquet of herbs, then wrap them tightly together with the twine. Hang your bundle and let it dry for two to three weeks. When it's completely dry, use a match to light the herbs at the end, then blow the whole thing out so it starts to smolder. Place in a heat-proof glass dish and take a whiff.
Hey, what’s that smell? It’s summer. In your living room. Amazing.
