1. BEST COMFORT FOOD: ESTIA'S LITTLE KITCHEN

If loaded burritos, a stack of chocolate chip pancakes or a nacho-themed omelette seem like your type of comfort food, you’ll love this tiny Sag Harbor café. Estia’s is offering takeout four days per week—Friday through Monday—so your weekend brunch game can still be on point (just make sure to arrive before noon to get your pancakes cravings fulfilled).

In addition to a classic glazed and pink sprinkles, you’ll definitely want to pick up a few inventive flavors, like Nutella s'mores or maple sea salt.

Some mornings just require a reliable bagel and a generous schmear of cream cheese. 8. BEST LOCAL SECRET: HAMPTON CHUTNEY CO.

You haven’t truly been to Amagansett without stopping by Hampton Chutney Co. for a dosa. For the uninitiated, a dosa is a light, crispy Indian crepe made from rice and lentils that can be stuffed with almost any combination you desire. For breakfast, start with the eggs, spinach, roasted tomatoes and jack cheese with avocado—plus a combo of the cilantro and mango chutney. Another hot tip: You’ll dream of the cardamom iced coffee long after you’ve finished it. So yeah, you might want to order two.

9. BEST VEGAN TREATS: JACK'S STIR BREW COFFEE

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself sitting next to a boldface name at this perennially packed Amagansett coffee shop or the Sag Harbor location. They offer a long list of mouth-watering pastries—including vegan apple cider doughnuts and muffins—to go along with the extensive menu of coffee concoctions.

10. BEST FANCY BREAKFAST SANDWICH: Carissa's the Bakery

If a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll isn’t for you, head to Carissa’s for the Hamptons version of the classic. The bacon and egg is still present, but this top-shelf sandwich is served on thick slabs of sourdough and stuffed with pickled Fresnos and braised greens. Fancy, indeed. Prefer a smoked salmon sandwich or a fool-proof avo toast? This hot spot has you covered.
