Hard to believe that it’s that time of the year already, but yes, Turkey Day is just around the corner. (Psst: Thanksgiving is on November 25 this year). And unlike 2020, restaurants will actually be open for dine-in this year, so what better way to celebrate the holiday than by skipping all the cooking and the stress that goes with it? This year, we’re giving thanks for all the excellent Thanksgiving eats we don’t have to make ourselves (plus, not having to do the dishes). Here are 16 excellent restaurants open on Thanksgiving in Los Angeles.
1. 71Above
Elevate your dining with a view from the 71st floor of downtown LA at 71Above. The restaurant will be offering a three-course menu for $95 per person. Diners will get their choice of appetizers including yellowfin tuna crudo, crispy octopus and more followed by roasted turkey and sides for the table.

2. 1 Pico
Have a beachside dinner this Thanksgiving at 1 Pico at Shutters on the Beach. The restaurant will be offering a three-course menu for $115 per person, with options that include lobster tartine, oysters on the half shell and, of course, some turkey for entree. There are vegan options available as well as a $45 kids menu.

3. Kali
Kali will be offering a family style Thanksgiving feast with a Californian touch from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. this holiday. On the menu will be chicken liver mousse, pumpkin risotto and roasted turkey served with rosemary bread stuffing and other sides. The feast costs $85 per person.

4. FIG
Fairmont Miramar’s FIG will be welcoming guests with a Thanksgiving feast for $88 per person, offering items such as honeynut squash tortellini, turkey braised in molasses, sage and rosemary, dry aged prime rib and more. There is also a vegan menu available for $56 per person with roasted mushrooms, charred cauliflower and other options.

5. Plant Food + Wine
Los Angeles isn’t short on plant-based Thanksgiving dining. One great option is Plant Food+Wine in Venice which will be serving a five-course Thanksgiving menu that is not only plant-based but also gluten-free. Enjoy dishes like miso glazed squash and braised wild mushrooms, finished off with pear shortbread, all on their gorgeous patio in Venice.

6. Gwen
Chef Curtis Stone’s Gwen is offering a four-course Thanksgiving menu for $90 per person. The main course is a roasted, 18-hour braised turkey leg with maple turkey gravy, butcher’s sausage stuffing and other sides, finishing off with sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

7. Coin & Candor
Take a little getaway to Westlake Village and enjoy the four-course Thanksgiving menu at Coin & Candor at The Four Seasons Hotel. There will be grilled persimmon, pumpkin risotto, roasted turkey with stuffing roulade, and pies a la mode for dessert. The menu costs $88 per person.

8. Jean-Georges Beverly Hills
For those planning to splurge this Thanksgiving, head to Jean-Georges at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills. The restaurant will be serving a $210 per person menu from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will include dishes like scallop and truffle tartar, roasted Maine lobster, peppercorn crusted wagyu beef tenderloin and, of course, roasted turkey with truffle chestnut stuffing. The Rooftop by JG will also be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and serving their regular menu a la carte.

9. Charcoal
Chef Josiah Citrin’s Charcoal in Venice will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from 2:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. with a $105 per person menu. The five-course menu will start with cabbage baked in ember and grilled escarole and instead of choosing their main, diners will get to enjoy both smoked turkey and slow roasted prime rib.

10. Urban Plates
There are plenty of high end dining options in LA for Thanksgiving, but we are also thankful for affordable and solo-friendly choices like Urban Plates. Urban Plates will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will be serving a turkey plate for $19.95, consisting of herb-roasted turkey breast, cranberry relish, stuffing, gravy and a choice of side.

11. Meat on Ocean
This Santa Monica restaurant will be offering a traditional, three-course Thanksgiving meal including herb roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, candied yams and more. The Thanksgiving menu costs $68 per person, and Meat on Ocean will also be serving their regular menu a la carte.

Culina at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills is bringing back the Thanksgiving brunch buffet extravaganza for $139 per person. They will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this year, and the buffet will feature a live breakfast station in the morning and an Italian station in the later part of the afternoon, along with turkey and prime rib, a seafood station, and a whole lot more. Over near the water, Playa Provisions will be open for dine-in from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day with a three-course menu that includes a chicory and apple salad, a Thanksgiving plate complete with turkey and all the fixings, and a choice of dessert. For those dining at home, they will also be offering pies and canned cocktails to go.

Head to one of LA’s most romantic spots to celebrate Thanksgiving this year and hope you get a creekside table at Inn of the Seventh Ray. The experiential Barton G will be open with plenty of options for everyone; they will be serving their signature menu, an $85 Thanksgiving three-course menu, as well as offering their Thanksgiving dishes a la carte.
