How to Make a Nor’easter Cocktail with Just the Right Amount of Sweetness

The nor’easter: a blustery storm blowing in from New England. Also the nor’easter: a delicious cocktail that features maple syrup, one of the Northeast’s most delicious exports. Here’s how to mix up a glass of this cheeky drink for yourself.

What You Need:
 - Ice
 - 2 ounces bourbon
 - ½ ounce maple syrup
 - ½ ounce lime juice
 - Ginger beer
 - A slice of lime for garnish

Step 1: Combine the bourbon, maple syrup and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Gently shake to blend.

Step 2: Pour the mixture over ice in a glass.

Step 3: Top it off with ginger beer and a lime for garnish.
