The Reservations
We know, we’re just as excited as you are. For the first time, DoorDash users will be able to book restaurant reservations directly through the DoorDash app, and earn credits with every booking toward future DoorDash orders (but more on that later). From casual dinners with friends to Michelin-star special occasions, DoorDash just made it so much easier to seamlessly book a spot at restaurants where the tables are coveted and few, including notorious examples like The Corner Store in NYC or Casadonna in Miami. Right now, diners can book in Miami on iOS, as well as Android and desktop booking, with NYC and Las Vegas to follow in the coming weeks.
The Perks
Thanks to DoorDash’s new in-app reservation program, you can earn credits toward future DoorDash orders every time you book and complete a reservation. So you can go from finding a restaurant to confirming your table in just a few taps, earning DoorDash credits that help pay for your next delivery in the process. What’s more, DashPass members get additional perks, including exclusive tables at popular times, extra rewards and even some discounted Lyft Black rides to name a few (in other words, it pays to be a DashPass member).
