We Tested Ayesha Curry’s Horchata Brownie Recipe to See if It’s Worth the Hype

Horchata makes its appearance in all kinds of treats, from ice cream to coffee. But have you ever tried horchata brownies? Well, Ayesha Curry has the recipe for you.

In the latest episode of PureWow's Celeb Bites YouTube series (where we test out all the trending celebrity recipes), Juliette wanted to try the Mexican-inspired dessert for herself. So, she got to baking and gave her totally unfiltered opinion.

In the episode (see above), Juliette discusses how the TV personality's brownie recipe first became famous when she referenced it on her cooking show, Ayesha's Home Kitchen.

“I've been dying to try them,” Juliette said. “Ayesha is actually a chef—she has a cooking show [and] she knows what she's doing.”

So, Juliette dives right into it, grabbing her ingredients (which involves chocolate chips, brown sugar and more) and offering a few fun facts about Curry along the way. (For instance: Did you know her name is Ayesha because her dad loved the song “Isn't She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder?)
