Gabrielle Union Celebrates Her New TV Role in a Watermelon-Colored Prada Dress

Whenever Gabrielle Union pulls out a new look, we happily say bring. it. on. The 50-year-old star is always surprising us with her stunning ensembles, and most recently, she pulled out a gorgeous Prada dress while attending the season 3 premiere of Truth Be Told.

The Apple TV+ original series stars Octavia Spencer as Poppy Parnell, a reporter who runs a popular true crime podcast, and who investigates a different case in each season. Union joined season 3 of the series as Eva, and to celebrate her new role, the Being Mary Jane star sported an eye-popping, watermelon-colored dress to the red carpet premiere.

The Bring It On actress posed next to her husband, Dwyane Wade, in a series of photos, where we got a full look at her form-fitting, fringe gown. “It's the support for me. I love that for us,” she wrote in her caption. “Catch me and the talented @OctaviaSpencer every week in @TruthBeTold on @AppleTvPlus!”

For the event, Union was styled by Thomas Christos Kikis. Her outfit featured pastel green and pink strips of fabric on the bodice, while the skirt was all black. The design was paired with jewelry from Norman Silverman.

Fellow celebs showed their love for the look in the comments, like Tracee Ellis Ross, who commented, “@gabunion you look stunning.” Kerry Washington wrote, “WOW,” and Union's husband left a heart emoji in the comments. The last photo in the slideshow featured a surprise cameo from the pair's 4-year-old daughter, Kaavia, and Reese Witherspoon wrote, “The last pic is [100 emoji].”

Matching with his spouse, Wade also sported a Prada ensemble. The athlete was outfitted in a black suit from the brand, which was styled by Jason Bolden.

You never fail to wow us, Gab (on screen and on the red carpet).
