After taking a hiatus last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Fashion Awards returned to London for an in-person ceremony last month. And while the red carpet fashion is always impressive, Gabrielle Union turned heads in a lime green gown that gave off sexy Grinch vibes.
On November 29, the 49-year-old actress stepped out at the annual event at Royal Albert Hall. For the occasion, the Bring It On actress opted for a lime green gown from the Valentino Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2021 collection. The taffeta pleated piece featured a chiffon cape, a string-halter neckline and a princess skirt. She topped off her look with a large, gravity-defying bun (quite possibly the biggest one we’ve ever seen), statement earrings and contrasting pink glam.
Lucky for us, Union shared a handful of photos and videos from the event on her personal social media account. In the first clip, which is set to Drake’s “Fountains,” we get a close-up look at the entire ensemble, from bottom to top. “Feeling Lucky #fashionawards,” Gabrielle simply captioned a video.
