Assistant editor Katherine wore checked pants on Monday. Senior editor Dara sported hers on Tuesday. By Wednesday, I felt morally obligated to wear mine to work as well. The trend was taking over PureWow HQ, and yet…we all dressed them up or down really differently.

A clean black-and-white print is the perfect balance to a burst of tropical color. Choose a solid top in a bright, cheery hue and accessorize with equally vibrant earrings, bangles or a silk bandanna headband.
