Cardi B Rocked Multiple Eye-Popping Ensembles at the AMAs But Her Gold Mask Look Clearly Stole the Show

Cardi B hosted last night’s American Music Awards, and boy did she dress the part. While we’re used to hosts sporting multiple outfits throughout awards ceremonies, the “She Bad” singer took things to a whole new level, with more than six ensembles (one even included a mask).

The mother of two kicked things off on the red carpet wearing a dramatic ensemble, featuring a black gown by Schiaparelli. She topped off her look with a mesh veil, a golden mask, statement earrings, gloves and long fingernails. And anyone else getting Squid Games vibes? See the full look below.

The mask wasn’t the only dramatic accessory of the evening. At one point during the ceremony, she donned a towering feathered piece from Alexandre Vauthier’s fall 2021 couture collection that trailed down her back to the floor. She paired the piece with a black velvet dress.

At another point in the night, she swapped her feathers for a fan-shaped showstopper headdress, with a black-and-white corset and mesh sleeves.

In addition to being the host, Cardi B also went on to win the American Music Award for favorite hip-hop song for her hit “Up.” Following the show’s conclusion, she posed with her award wearing an all-white outfit, featuring a white gown and statuesque hood, embellished with a crystal trim.

To say we were impressed by all of these looks would be an understatement.
