‘The Circle’ Season 4 Trailer Just Dropped and the Stakes Have Never Been Higher

Netflix has been the go-to destination for drama-filled reality television. With shows like Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle and, most recently, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, the streaming service has just enough to satisfy your messy needs. And now, the trailer for The Circle season four recently dropped, and it seems we are in for a treat.

The one-minute trailer starts with an incoming alert message, revealing that there has been a data breach. Even one of the participants jokingly says, “What in the 2001 is happening?” (OK, that was a good Y2K reference).

Then, we’re introduced to the show’s host, Michelle Buteau, who intros this season’s contestants.

In the social media competition show, the players can choose to be themselves or take on a completely new identity. Either way, they are all competing for a grand prize of $150,000.

The stakes are higher than ever this season and some “secret celebrities” may even be in the mix. So, one thing is for sure: season four is going to be one for the books.

The Circle, which is based on a British series of the same name, first premiered on Netflix in 2020. The series became a breakout hit, spawning a sequel version that takes place in France and Brazil. The first four episodes from season four will premiere on May 4. After that, new episodes will air every week on Wednesdays.

This calls for a re-watch of the first three seasons. Who’s with us?
