‘The Bear’ Season 2 Teaser Just Aired During the Oscars (and We Have a Premiere Date)

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

If you blinked, you might’ve missed it, but a teaser for season two of The Bear just aired during the 95th annual Academy Awards.

TBH, the 30-second teaser is so brief that it’s hard to glean anything juicy about what’s to come except that the new episodes will be available to stream sometime in June 2023. (Fittingly, the Chicago-based show was set to Chicago-based band Wilco’s “Via Chicago.”)

The second season was confirmed in July 2022, just one month after the Hulu show premiered to both audience and critical acclaim. Jeremy Allen White will reprise his lead role as Carmy, along with his co-stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce and Liza Colón-Zayas.

The season one finale ended with Carmy finding a note from his late brother, in addition to cash stashed in tomato cans. It’s likely that season two will follow the chef’s efforts to revamp the restaurant with his trusty crew.

While we don’t have a precise premiere date, the first season of The Bear aired on June 23, 2022, so we’re placing bets on late June 2023. Sharpen your chef’s knife.
