‘Virgin River’ Star Martin Henderson Shares Major Update About Season 5

Eager for a new update about Virgin River season five? Yeah, us too. Luckily, actor Martin Henderson (AKA Jack Sheridan) has satiated our desire for Virgin River info (for now, at least) by sharing news about the upcoming season.

The 48-year-old actor recently filmed a Cameo video and spilled the tea (for those who don’t know, Cameos are videos purchased by fans who want to hear from their fave celebs). In the video clip later uploaded to Twitter, Henderson talks about all things season five, detailing steamy plotlines and a possible premiere date.

Virgin River season five [is] coming out, I think, probably in July. So, not long now, a few months,” he said in the vid. “Another installment of hot, steamy gossip and intrigue on the river.”

According to Hello! Magazine, actress Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays Melinda “Mel” Monroe in the series, also made a Cameo video and shared that the new season might have a summer release date. “The fifth season that’ll come out probably, I don’t know, maybe July again?” she explained in the video. “I’m not sure, nobody’s really updated me!”

As of right now, Netflix has not revealed a release date for the fifth season. However, taking into account that the previous season premiered back in July 2022, Henderson’s latest update about the new season premiere might not be too far off.

Last July, Henderson posted a behind-the-scenes snap on his Instagram page, where he dressed in his character’s signature attire. And he just so happened to reveal that the cast and crew had started filming Virgin River season five. “Jack’s back! Day 1 of shooting #virginriver,” he wrote in the caption. “Season 5—feels good to slip back into Jack’s boots.”

We’ll take that release date any day now, Netflix…
