It’s the busiest time of year for everyone. But for the royals, November was especially busy. This month was full of travel, conservation efforts and more. As always, there were stunning photos released, too.

Today, as part of @princeandprincessofwales November Rewind, Kensington Palace re-shared the month’s highlights to the account’s Instagram Stories.

The most striking slide included snapshots of Kate Middleton and Prince William from Remembrance Sunday. The photo of Prince William shows him standing alone and saluting, wearing a double-breasted coat and a red poppy brooch to pay tribute to those who’ve died in war. Princess Catherine is looking off in the distance in her photo, also wearing a red poppy brooch.

The first slide in the series showed Prince William in Capetown, South Africa for the fourth annual Earthshot Prize Awards. The Earthshot Prize, launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in 2020, is a prestigious award given to organizations that are making major strides in combatting climate change.

While addressing the young environmentalists, he said, “All of you in this room are future changemakers, you’re the leaders, you’re the people going to make the difference going forward. It’s your platform. Use it as you need to, take it away, play with it, turn it into something different. Because we believe in you, and what you’re going to do is change the world, I really believe that.”

While in South Africa, the Prince met with rangers, conservationists, volunteers and Robert Irwin (that’s Steve Irwin’s son). He also attended the United for Wildlife Global Summit, which discussed the illegal wildlife trade and announced an affordable insurance for rangers.

Finally, the account shared photos of the Prince of Wales spending time with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards at Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. Prince William donned full camo, a military cap and a scruffy beard.

“After two remarkable years leading historic ceremonial events, the Welsh Guards have transitioned back to their vital operational roles,” read the Instagram caption. “Their specialist platoons were undergoing training today, demonstrating live-firing exercises and drones that enhance their capabilities.”

I can’t wait to see what the royals have planned for December.
