There’s one reason so many music lovers, celebs, artists and influencers flock to the desert during festival season each year…and it’s probably not what you think. Hear us out: Yes, there’s the vibe, the bands, the opportunity to soak up some sun and show off those festival ‘fits. But it’s really all about the chance to make a connection—to other people, to the music, and to an entirely unique experience. It’s what has folks returning year after year, us included.
Back at our stomping grounds in Indio, California for the second year in a row, Gallery Desert House was *the* landing pad for festivalgoers to recharge, celebrate and connect. It’s also why we partnered with Spectrum to host a live taping of Becca Moore’s infamous For the Girls podcast, followed by a high-energy pool party to help keep the conversations flowing. If you couldn’t make it out this year, no worries. Since Spectrum is known for its seamless connectivity, guests were able to stream, post and connect to friends back home, sharing the party with us all. Get an inside peek below.
From the Podcast to the Pool Party, This Event at Gallery Desert House Had Everyone Talking

The Podcast
First up, we hosted a live edition of the For the Girls podcast, powered by Spectrum. Becca and her special co-host, former Bachelorette Charity Lawson, chatted all about unexpected moments of connection that spark in the most unlikely places—like a country music festival weekend. During “Plead the Fifth,” the audience submitted unfiltered questions that made for a truly unforgettable, and hilarious, afternoon. (And how cute is that vintage western stage setup?) But the entire experience couldn’t have happened without Spectrum, which delivers the fastest internet and WiFi speed around and the most reliable internet in California, aka an absolute must-have for streaming a podcast out in the middle of the desert.

The Pool Party
After the intimate live podcast came the “No Missed Connections” pool party, where guests had even more opportunity to connect, get to know strangers, and embrace their playful side. Featuring sounds from DJ Layla Marigold, there were light bites, photo ops, cocktails and gifting moments galore. Plus, over one hundred guests (and their Spectrum-connected phones) linked up and left fired up for the rest of the weekend.

The Lounge
Running out of juice in the middle of one of the most highly anticipated social events of the season? Not an option…or a worry, thanks to Spectrum’s Charged Up Lounge, which was on hand for guests all weekend long. Partygoers could chill, take home some branded swag and charge their phones, scroll and post thanks to Spectrum Mobile, which provides unlimited talk, text and data, plus Nationwide 5G.
And while they kept everyone connected on the go, once back home, Spectrum is a smart bet for powering the whole fam: Internet plans start at $30 and can support well over five connected devices. You can even get the most popular apps included at no extra cost with select Spectrum TV plans, including Disney+, Max, ESPN+, Peacock, Paramount+ and more.
Head to the Spectrum site to find out more and get started. And in the meantime, check out our fave party pics below.
