Virgin River episodes might be filled with drama, but that's definitely not the case when the cameras aren't rolling.
On Instagram, the official account for the Netflix series posted a few behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the cast during a picnic and, honestly, it's giving us a serious case of FOMO.
The first post features a collage of pics from the cast's annual picnic, complete with candy stations, multiple gaming booths and a stage. And in the center image, Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson appear to be in the middle of an activity. Virgin River captioned the post, "BTS annual VR picnic! #virginriver #virginrivernetflix #netflix #picnic #virginriverseries #fun."
In a follow-up post, we see a clip of the cast members competing in a lively spoon-and-egg race. The official account added, "BTS part 2 picnic, our wonderfully talented director @gailharvey gives direction to cast....what change happened between rehearsal to screen?"
One fan commented, "Omg. Sounds like so much fun, guys [heart emoji]." Another fan wrote, "So cute to see behind the scenes."
As an added bonus, Virgin River also treated fans to a rare behind-the-scenes look at season two.
The gallery features snaps of Colin Lawrence, Lexa Doig, Chase Petriw and Steve Bacic.
Not surprisingly, fans sounded off in the comments to say that they're eager for season three. Virgin River hasn't officially been picked up for another season yet. But considering the show's popularity and how quickly Netflix announced season two in 2019, it's likely that the same will happen for season three.
