Milo Ventimiglia Had This to Say About the Ending of ‘This Is Us’

Bring out the tissues because This Is Us was recently renewed for three more seasons by NBC with the sixth (and final) season due to air in 2022. And while that may seem far away (never leave us, Pearsons), one star already knows how things will end up for our favorite TV family.

Reminder: The season three finale left us with some answers—and plenty of questions. Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) are finally compromising, Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Toby (Chris Sullivan) are parents, and Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Zoe (Melanie Liburd) are dunzo. As for Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia), these two are still making us smile through flashbacks. And while we now know who the mysterious "her" was, we're still left wondering about the fate of the Big Three and their families.

And now America's number one dad has spoken out about how the show will wrap up. Per People, Ventimiglia is happy about it.

“Oh yeah,” the actor answered after being asked if he approves of how the series will conclude, adding that the ending is “amazing.”

“By the time we get there, it is going to morph into something that we could not dream or imagine it could become,” Ventimiglia said. Gah, what does that mean?!

Here's one thing we do know: According to series creator Dan Fogelman, we'll likely be seeing less of Jack in season four

In an interview with Good Housekeeping, Fogelman said, “I think a lot of the mystery of Jack has been kind of told by the end of this season [season three], but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s any less interesting to go and live with those younger families.” We can get on board with that.

But while the show's star may approve of the ending, our question is—what will the fans think?
