Will Tayshia Adams’s Ex-Husband Appear on ‘The Bachelorette’? Fans Seem to Think So

On this week’s episode of The Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams bonded with Brendan over their roles as dating divorcees. The candid exchange got us thinking: Will Adams’s ex-husband, Josh Bourelle, make an appearance on season 16?

As it turns out, there’s a good chance Bourelle will have a cameo. The speculation began shortly after episode five, when ABC aired a promo for the next installment.

It features a scene from what appears to be the final rose ceremony—Adams can be seen crying while a voiceover says, “It’s only a matter of time before she realizes the truth.” In tears, the new Bachelorette responds, “I can’t do this anymore.”

Yes, the mystery man could be anyone. But as one TikTok user points out, ABC gave us a hint in the closed captions, which credited “Josh Bourelle” as the speaker.

Still, it’s important to note that we might not actually see Bourelle on The Bachelorette. Production was forced to follow strict social distancing protocol, which included a secluded quarantine until everyone could produce a negative COVID-19 test result.

Because of this, we wouldn’t be surprised if Bourelle makes an appearance via FaceTime or—dare we say—phone call. Perhaps Adams reaches out to let him know that she’s ready to get engaged again?

If that’s not the case, we wouldn’t put it past the producers to go out of their way to quarantine Bourelle, just so they could surprise Adams with a man from her past. (#Savage)

The Bachelorette returns to ABC next Tuesday, November 17, at 8 p.m.
