Taron Egerton Tied Elton John's Shoe on the Cannes Red Carpet, Proving Even Movie Stars Have Idols

The two were on the red carpet at Cannes for the premiere of the Elton John biopic, which stars Egerton as the legendary singer.
Cameras caught the cute moment when movie Elton John noticed real-life Elton John's shoe had come untied. Instead of fetching an assistant, Egerton squatted right down and fixed it himself.
In addition to finicky shoes, Sir Elton wore a simple black suit with a white shirt and a rocket brooch. Egerton, for his part, jazzed things up a bit in a velvety silver jacket and black pants.
Rocketman, which is described as an “epic musical fantasy,” tracks John’s early days in the music industry and his rise from the Royal Academy of Music to international acclaim and will hit theaters on May 31.
In addition to Egerton, the film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), Jamie Bell (Fantastic Four) and Gemma Jones (Bridget Jones’s Diary). Dexter Fletcher (Eddie and the Eagle) is directing the movie.
They might say you should never meet your idols, but they don't saying anything about tying their shoes.
