‘Queer Eye’ Star Tan France Introduces New Son After Welcoming First Child Via Surrogate

Major congratulations are in order for Tan France and his husband, Rob. The couple officially became parents last week when they welcomed their first child via surrogate. (And we even have a first pic and a name.)

The Queer Eye star recently announced the exciting news with a personal message on social media. “Give our son a warm welcome,” he captioned a snap on Instagram. “Ismail France, born July 10th. He came 7 weeks early, so he’s been in the NICU for the past 3 weeks. But, today, we finally got to bring him home. We love him so, so much. Like, fully obsessed. Our surrogate is doing so great, post-labor, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the greatest gift in our lives.”

In addition to giving us a name, the 38-year-old fashion guru also shared two photos of his baby boy. The first shot featured Tan and his hubby smiling, while the second was a solo shot of Tan and the newborn.

We first learned the couple was expecting via surrogate back in April, when Tan shared the exciting news on his personal IG by posting a shirtless photo of himself holding a sonogram up to his stomach. “So happy to finally share that WE’RE HAVING A BABY!!” he captioned the post before clarifying, “No, I’m not pregnant, despite this VERY realistic pic.”

He continued, “With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to being parents, this summer. Something we’ve wanted for Soooo many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby, and to show him so much love.”

We can’t wait for more pics of this adorable family of three.
