Surprise! Tan France Is Expecting His First Child Via Surrogate

Tan France and his husband, Rob, are going to parents! The couple recently revealed they are expecting their first child together.

On Tuesday, the Queer Eye star shared the exciting news on his personal Instagram by posting a shirtless photo of himself holding a sonogram up to his stomach. “So happy to finally share that WE’RE HAVING A BABY!!” he captioned the post before clarifying, “No, I’m not pregnant, despite this VERY realistic pic.”

France continued, “With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to being parents, this Summer. Something we’ve wanted for SOooo many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby, and to show him so much love.”

His husband, who is notorious for only sharing his artwork on social media, posted his own announcement, featuring an illustration of a baby. He wrote, “We have a beautiful little angel on the way and I didn’t think it was humanly possible to feel like this.”

Of course, we weren’t the only ones excited by the news. Netflix left a comment on the 37-year-old fashion guru’s post, writing, “Congrats! Can’t wait to see the baby’s first french tuck .” Our thoughts exactly.

As we mentioned above, this is the first child for the couple. However, children and surrogacy have always been their plan. In fact, before the release of season two of Queer Eye in 2018, Tan opened up to The Press about his desire to have six (yes, you read that correctly) children with his hubby. “I truly do want six. I will settle for minimum four. And no, six is not loads. It’s just enough,” he stated. One down, at least three to go.
