Simone Biles is showing some love to her boyfriend, Jonathan Owens.
On Monday, the 24-year-old Olympian shared a sweet snap of herself and the NFL player on Instagram. In the pic, we see the duo spending time together at a restaurant. (Based on Biles’s drink, it’s possible they were enjoying a Labor Day brunch.) “My whole heart,” the gold medalist captioned the post.
Owens made sure to return the flirty sentiments and left a loving reply in the comments, where he said, “My everything” alongside two heart emojis. Biles also shared the snap on her IG Story, with the additional note that read, “I love you.”
The couple recently rang in their one-year anniversary together, and Biles took to Instagram to mark the special occasion. “Oops I forgot to tell y’all that we’ve been dating for more than a year,” she casually wrote in the caption. “So happy past 1 year to the best thing that’s ever happened to you: ME,” she joked to Owens in the rest of the message.
“Time flies when you're having fun. To many more with you baby,” Owens added in the comments section of the post. He also shared the post on his Instagram Story and said, “My heart.”
Owens and Biles first met on social media in March of 2020—right before the onset of the pandemic. Since then, the duo has remained inseparable and continues to show support for one another. While Biles was in Tokyo, Owens shared multiple messages of support from across the world. In addition, when the gymnast returned home, one of her first pit stops was to see Owens during his football practices.
