Simone Biles Celebrates One Year of Dating Her Boyfriend, Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles just reached a major milestone in her relationship with NFL player Jonathan Owens.

The gold medalist revealed that she and her boyfriend have been together for over a year now, and she took to Instagram to mark the special occasion. “Oops I forgot to tell y’all that we’ve been dating for more than a year,” she casually wrote in the caption. “So happy past 1 year to the best thing that’s ever happened to you: ME,” she joked to Owens in the rest of the message.

The slideshow features the couple matching in a pair of tangerine-colored tops and ripped, light wash jeans. While Biles didn't tag the location, it looks to us like the couple embarked on a date night to celebrate the anniversary, given the twinkly lights and lush plants adorning the patio where they're standing.

Owens left a loving reply in the comments, where he said, “Time flies when you're having fun. To many more with you baby.” He also shared the post on his Instagram story and said, “My heart.”

The couple have been spending much of their time together these past few weeks. When Biles first returned from the Tokyo Olympic Games, one of her first pit stops was to see Owens during his football practices. “Open practices aka bring your girlfriend to work day,” she said, while posing with her boyfriend on the football field.
